- The Kapla set of 120 planks consists of a sturdy cardboard box, a folder with examples and, yes, 120 identical planks in yellow, green and blue colours.
- All planks have the same dimensions. The ratio is a 'secret formula' that the planks are 3x as wide as they are thick and 5x as long as they are wide. This ratio allows you to build large structures, without nails or glue.
- Kapla stands for KAbouter-PLAnkjes and is a Dutch invention.
- The planks are made of pine (Pin des Landes).
- The construction set is suitable for children aged 3 and up.
