Fairplace, the sustainable webshop for children's toys

Fairplace is a Belgian webshop full of sustainable toys. We, Christophe Toye and Yves Vercruysse are both fathers of 3 children (not the same). We have built up masses of experience in the youth sector as playground managers and we also worked together for the umbrella organization Vlaamse Dienst Speelpleinwerk.

In 2013 we started Fairplace because we want to make a difference in sustainability. We also want more creative, original and unique toys. Toys that are made in fair working conditions, from sustainable materials and with a long lifespan. We are still happy every day when we can let children play with sustainable toys.

The largest Belgian range of sustainable toys

We are steadily expanding our range. Today, we have one of the largest Belgian webshops with sustainable toys. You could call our range 'toys with added value' . Because in the toy sector, there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of ecology and sustainability: sturdiness of the toys, recyclable packaging, bio ink, working conditions, etc. Yes, there is still work to be done!

All children's toys are sustainable. Right?

Toys should of course be super fun and educational to play with first and foremost. We look for toys that are sustainably produced, with recycled material, sustainably managed raw materials and/or 100% recyclable material. In addition, we are constantly looking for sustainable ways to transport our toys.

30,000 times sustainable fun

In the meantime, more than 30,000 toys have already left the door. We are proud of our brands such as Green Toys , Plan Toys , Quut , Berg Toys , Playmobil or Stapelstein .

Collection point and showroom in Kortrijk

In the center of Kortrijk (Rijselsestraat 23) you can also come by (by appointment) to pick something up or to see our toys in person. Spread over 2 floors you will find our dozens of brands. A colorful collection of sustainable toys that is still growing every week.
