Where do the Stapelstein Stacking Stones come from?
Stapelstein is German for ... yes, stacking stone. The stacking stones from our range are effectively made in Germany . Stapelstein has a completely climate-neutral factory there.
Why are the stacking stones so durable?
The stacking stones are made of EPP. This is a plastic, fully expanded polypropylene, which is temperature-resistant between -40° and 110°C. This makes the stacking stones sterilizable. This is certainly useful for childcare.
The material absorbs almost no moisture, which means that bacteria have no chance to nest. The stacking stones are easy to clean with a little lukewarm water. This makes the stacking stones super suitable for use as movement toys. And because EPP is so robust, you can also use the stacking stones perfectly outside.
